Do you want to experience the fascination of paragliding and the unique feeling of flying without completing an entire flying course? Then the paragliding taster course is just the thing for you. Before you get to know the third dimension, you will be introduced to the equipment. You will learn all about the structure and function of the paraglider, put on your harness and helmet and carry out several take-off, control and landing exercises, which will be demonstrated to you by the instructor. Then you will take off for the first time and experience the fascination of flying!
Scope of services:
- Theoretical briefing.
- Take-off, control and landing exercises.
- First flight tests at low altitude.
- Incl. modern rental equipment.
Physical requirements:
- Minimum age: 15 years.
- No mental or physical limitations.
- Average physical fitness.

Before the first exercises begin, you will be familiarized with the equipment and learn all about the structure and function of the paraglider. Together you will put on your harness and helmet and your instructor will show you the first take-off, steering and landing exercises several times.
Weather:
- Due to the weather, there may be postponements and waiting times.
- If the weather is unsuitable for flying, a suitable alternative date will be arranged together.
Duration:
- Start: 09:00 am
- End between 12:00 and 15:00, depending on thermals and personal condition.
- Daily and all year round!
Location:
- Hohe Wand, Lower Austria.

Price information:
- Price is valid for 1 person (excl. travel expenses).
- Including modern flight equipment.
Group size:
1 person per booking.
Spectators:
Your relatives and friends are very welcome and can join you on the practice slope while you fly.
Equipment / clothing:
- Windproof warm clothing.
- In winter, warm outerwear (e.g. ski overalls).
Sturdy ankle-high shoes and sunglasses.
Flexibility:
The greatest flexibility you have with a voucher. The voucher is valid for 3 years. You also have the possibility to exchange the voucher for another adventure in case you are more interested in another offer.
