The aim of this course is to train you to become a free-flying pilot. In this course you will receive all the necessary information as well as tips and tricks for paragliding. After completing the course, you will take a theoretical and practical exam, receive your paragliding license and are now ready and authorized to fly free nationally and internationally. Scope of services:
- Theoretical instruction: meteorology, aerodynamics, equipment, flying practice, first aid and aviation law.
- Approx. 3-4 hours each, with textbook.
- Exam: Practical and theoretical exam (multiple-choice test) in front of an examination board.
Physical requirements:
Minimum age: 15 years.
- No mental or physical limitations.
- Average physical fitness.
Important Information:
Prerequisite for obtaining a paragliding license:
- Austrian school confirmation.
- 40 high-altitude flights, of which at least 25 under the direct supervision and guidance of a flight instructor, theoretical training.
Weather:
- Due to the weather, there may be postponements and waiting times.
- If the weather is unsuitable for flying, a suitable alternative date will be arranged together.
Duration:
- 3 days of theoretical lessons.
- Start: Daily from 10.00 am until open end (depending on the situation, weather, ...).

- Hohe Wand, Lower Austria.

Price information:
Price is valid for 1 person, excl. travel expenses.
(Theory course, training documents, textbook, examination).
Group size:
1 person per booking.
Equipment / clothing:
- Windproof warm clothing.
- In winter, warm outerwear (e.g. ski overalls).
Sturdy ankle-high shoes and sunglasses.
Flexibility:
The greatest flexibility you have with a voucher. The voucher is valid for 3 years. You also have the possibility to exchange the voucher for another adventure in case you are more interested in another offer.
