The ideal introduction to the fascination of sailing. With a high practical component, learning is fun. But you can't do it without theory either. In the basic course you will learn the most important maneuvers. At the end of the course you will be able to operate a dinghy safely and independently. A new basic course starts every 3 weeks on Wednesday in our training room in Marina Wien (Handelskai 343, 1020 Vienna). After the 1st theory unit, you can also start the 1st practical unit on any Friday at the Hofbauer Sailing School (An der oberen Alten Donau 186, 1220 Vienna).
Scope of services:
The basic course includes 1 theory unit of approx. 2.5 hours on the first day of the course (Wednesday 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm) and 4 practical units of 3 hours each, which can then be arranged at our course times. If there are less than 4 participants per group, the time can also be shorter.
Physical requirements:
Minimum age 14 years
Swimming ability
Good mood, sporty clothing, sneakers and a headgear
Important Information:

The examination fee is € 40,- and has to be paid at the start of the examination.
