Immerse yourself in the world of sailing. We will deepen your theoretical knowledge and prepare you on the water and in the lecture hall for the BFA-Binnen (Befähigungs Ausweis Binnen, formerly A-Schein) exam. However, this course not only focuses on the knowledge you need for a successful exam, but our experienced sailing instructors will open their bag of tricks and show you how you can safely control a sailing boat in all conditions.with the BFA-Binnen you can hire sailing boats of various sizes on inland waters and also take part in regattas on inland or sea courses. But even if you are planning to do a nautical training, the BFA-Binnen is just right for you. --- A new BFA Inland course starts every 3 weeks on Wednesday in our training room in the Marina Wien (Handelskai 343, 1020 Vienna). After the 1st theory unit, you can start the 1st practical unit on any Friday at the Hofbauer Sailing School (An der oberen Alten Donau 186, 1220 Vienna). --- Our course at a glance: The BFA-Binnen includes 2 theory units of approx. 2.5 hours each on the first day of the course (Wednesday 6.30 pm) and the following Wednesday. In addition, a total of 4 practical units of 3 hours each, which can be arranged individually at our course times.

Physical requirements:
Successfully completed basic course or sailing skills equivalent to the basic course, at the first practice session the participant's level will be assessed and potentially a group reclassification (basic course) will be made.

Important Information:
The BFA-Binnen includes 3 theory units of approx. 2 hours each on the first day of the course (Wednesday 6.30 pm) and 2 subsequent Wednesdays.
