WHEN THE IRON IS HOT In the historic hoof and hack smithy of Spital am Pyhrn, iron is heated in an open fire until it glows red-hot.
With the participation of everyone involved, a team nail or even a custom company logo is forged by hand.
On request, the ancient tail hammer, powered by a water wheel, can be put into action. Watching the iron take shape under this traditional tool is a truly mesmerizing process.
Participants gain a hands-on understanding of the hard work and effort required to shape raw iron in the past. The incredible craftsmanship of historical blacksmiths, who produced large quantities of tools and equipment, becomes vividly clear.
Visitors leave not only with the memory of this unique historical experience but also with their hand-forged team nail as a tangible souvenir.

If desired, your own company logo can be made instead of the team nail. This event takes place indoors and can therefore be carried out regardless of the weather. The forge is easily accessible on foot from the town center, making this attractive event component ideal as a relaxed evening program. The visit to the forge is only offered in Spital am Pyhrn.
