Crossing the Alps in a hot air balloon is one of the most impressive experiences ballooning has to offer. For about 3–4 hours, you float peacefully above the main ridge of the Alps, taking in panoramic views from the Großglockner and Großvenediger to the Zillertal Alps and the Dolomites. Gradually, the landscape opens up toward the Adriatic and northern Italy. After landing, enjoy a shared dinner and an overnight stay in Italy, with the return transfer the following day. The combination of silence, vastness, and freedom makes this journey truly unforgettable.

Equipment / clothing:
It's best to dress as you would for a walk outdoors. Since the balloon travels with the wind, there's no draft in the air – the temperature is therefore usually perceived as even milder than on the ground. Sturdy shoes are essential, as takeoff and landing take place in meadows, which can be damp depending on the weather. Feel free to also bring sturdy gloves, long trousers, and a long-sleeved shirt so you can help with inflating the balloon.
Flexibility:
Crossing the Alps is only possible about four to seven times per winter (from November to February). Therefore, appointments are made at short notice (about 2-3 days in advance).
Appointments can be made:
You will be informed 2-3 days prior if or when the Alpine Crossing can take place.
